Call Forwarding

8DID specializes on international call forwarding. The call forwarding setup can be changed in an instant depending on your needs. You can forward incoming calls to your existent call center or your personal telephone anywhere in the world. Your new virtual number can receive calls in several places at different countries. For example, your new phone number can be forwarded to your reservations central in Orlando or your customer service center in Houston. In case you open a new office in Toronto and you want to forward your calls to that location, you can do it. Calls can be rerouted wherever you wish.

Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)

The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) is a traditional circuit commuting network optimized for voice communications in real time.

Call forwarding through the PSTN alllows you to receive calls from DID Virtual Numbers in conventional telephones, whether they are fixed or mobile. It’s not necessary to have internet access, a computer or VoIP services. You can assign all or any of your DID numbers to the same phone. furthermore, you can change your forwarding destination whenever you wish in your Online Control Panel.

Internet Telephones (SIP/VoIP)

Besides call forwarding through the PSTN, our network is capable of redirecting calls made through the internet, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) or VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Many clients appreciate the savings per minutes granted by the SIP system, and also it excellent sound quality and fidelity.

To forward calls through an SIP device, you must provide an SIP address instead of a forwarding phone number. An SIP address is like an email address, some of these are: 8885551212@, 8885551212@mysip.mydomain.com, or even joe@mysip.mydomain.com.

Caller ID

8DID offers caller identification, for calls made within the same country. However, some countries also allow for an international ID feature, but it depends on the country and the operator from where the DID number is activated; therefore 8DID cannot control an international caller ID service.

Online Control Panel

8DID offers an Online Control Panel that allows you to add DID virtual numbers, configure and update the call forwarding addresses, and perform an activity check in real time.

The Online Control Panel also allows you to make payments through PayPal, check your billing information and create technical support tickets and consults to the Sales and Administrative departments.

If a route is not sending a call through our network, the call will be transferred automatically to another route.
